A weekend full of driving in one day and other stuff...

Friday night was dinner in Brunswick with Angel and Jessi and to bed later than I wanted to but earlier than lately...

Saturday morning up a 5:26a. Showered and out the door at 6:32a. After filling the car up, getting some breakfast and money for tolls I was ready to begin my days journey. I arrived in Delaware at John's at 9 or just a little after. Personally I think it was a little before 9a but if it was he didn't give me and grief about it. Angel's computer was plugged in and everything was working great (as if there was any doubt in my mind). Hung around there until around 12 and then back to Baltimore to drop off Aidan's coat. That accomplished and hung around there until a little after 3. My plan at this point is to make a quick stop in Frederick and pick up one or two things from Borders then home to collapse. Angel called and we ended up meeting in Frederick for dinner and a computer exchange. That was great because I didn't really want to get out of my jammies on Sunday and now I didn't have too! YAY!

Cooper, the crown prince, aka my nephew was at the house spending the night with us. I played with him lots and after his bedtime bottle I passed out. I was really tired. I had contemplated checking my email before heading to bed but it just seemed to daunting a task. It was a lot of fun playing with Copper and seeing new things he would laugh at and other things he would just look at in awe.

Let�s see what is happening�

As mentioned at Brenda�s, JC will be working 2nd shift hours for a couple of weeks. So, last night was my first trip down to hang with my lovely SIL and my most wonderful nephew, Cooper. He was glad to see me, I guess but it could have just been that he knew I�d get him out of his car seat. I�m going to go with glad to see me. I don�t care what anyone else says. We had a great time and I got to hear him giggle and croon. He�s more of a crooner and Brenda�s right if you�re not looking at him when he starts to giggle it can sound like crying. I know I�m weird but I love the pooched out lip look he does when he�s beginning to not be happy. Reminds me of when JC was little. Of course, we did torture JC to make that face but I�m much nicer to the not so mini Cooper. It could have something to do with not having to fold tons and tons of diapers. I could be wrong though�.Nah! I�m not wrong. It was all about the diapers! They�ve got to lay off the miracle grow though. He�s so big. I saw him last week and he�s already changed from then.

All is well with Rob and I. We keep moving along and manage to not annoy each other too much. I�ve met his mom and she�s really nice. He�s met the family and so far so good. They like him and he likes them. We managed to have separate plans the last time Kate was in town so she hasn�t met him yet. Of course, I haven�t met Dustin yet so we�re even.

This weekend is trick or treating with all my godchildren and a Halloween Birthday Party on Saturday for Jessi. I�m wearing some new garb for the event and Rob�s going to be the �Punisher�. I�m painting a t-shirt complete with glow in the dark accents for him to wear. It�s looking really good. I�ll post pictures of the final project when I get finished. It should be finished tonight and then all I have left is drying time before pictures can be taken. I'll try to get a shot with the glow in the dark features showing.

Bridget Jones: Of course, any question... as long as it's not, 'Will You Marry Me'.
[pause after looking at Mark's face]
Bridget Jones: Omg, it is isn't it? It's will you Marry me? Ok, no! Wait, pretend that we just came out...
[walks back to the door, opens and closes it]
Bridget Jones: and you asked me if you could ask me a question and I said yes and NOTHING more. Ok, go.

I had one of these moments with Rob. No, he didn't ask me to marry him! Slow down people!!

It's just one of those moments when I should have kept my mouth shut.

The weekend before it happens...

Tonight I'm getting some Rob time in and tomorrow I'll be getting some Cooper time in. Everyone is heading to the beach on Sunday for a week and I'm being left at home to keep everything running smoothly. Rob has surgery Monday on his ankle and David let me have the day off even though Jo and Art won't be here. I'm hoping that this really helps Rob. He's been in so much pain due to this.

I'm so tired...last night I wrestled with the squishy bed topper Jo and Art gave me. Lord that thing is heavy. Then after getting my bed all back together I realized I had put the squishy thing on top of my heated mattress pad. ARGH! Rob said after he's healed he'll help me fix the problem. He's such a sweetie. I did sleep better last night...I didn't feel like an old decrepit woman this morning when I woke up.

It's always nice to go away for a few days and have a wonderful time even if you do nothing but spend time with someone you care about! :)
